Medical Weight Loss

A real medical weight loss program. Not a med spa.

Physician-supervised. Compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide weekly. Monthly visits with our care team. Honest about what the medication can and can't do — and what it requires from you.

How it works

Three steps. Real medical care at each one.

01

Initial medical consultation

A 30–45 minute visit with a provider on our care team. We review your medical history, current medications, weight history, and goals — and decide together whether medication is appropriate.

02

Prescription & medication plan

If clinically appropriate, your provider prescribes compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide. We start at a low dose and titrate up over weeks based on your response and tolerance.

03

Monthly visits & support

We see you monthly to check progress, manage side effects, and adjust the plan. Most visits can be done by telehealth once you're stable.

We'll go over program details and cost at your initial consultation.

Is this right for me?

Honest about who this is — and isn't — for.

GLP-1 medications work well for many people. They're not right for everyone. Our care team will review your full medical history before prescribing.

Generally a good fit

  • Adults with a BMI ≥ 30, or ≥ 27 with weight-related health conditions
  • Have tried diet and lifestyle changes without lasting results
  • Are committed to monthly check-ins and honest about side effects
  • Don't have a contraindication to GLP-1 medications (see below)

Not a candidate (or talk to us first)

  • Pregnancy or active plans to become pregnant
  • Personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma
  • History of MEN 2 (multiple endocrine neoplasia)
  • Active gallbladder disease, severe gastroparesis, or pancreatitis
  • Looking for fast results without medical follow-up

Important medical information

Compounded medications are prescribed only when clinically appropriate after a complete medical evaluation. Individual results vary. Side effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and others — your provider will discuss these in detail. Compounded GLP-1 medications are not FDA-approved drugs; they contain the same active ingredients as FDA-approved products and are prepared by a state-licensed compounding pharmacy.

This program is cash-pay and not covered by insurance. Frontline Primary Care does not guarantee any specific weight loss outcome. Medication works best in conjunction with diet, exercise, and behavior change — and we'll talk about all of that at your visits.
