About Dr. Kim
Dr. Karen Kim is the Co-Founder and Medical Director of Frontline Primary Care, an internal medicine specialist with over 23 years of experience. She earned her M.D. at Tufts University in Boston and completed her General Internal Medicine residency at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
Early in her career, Dr. Kim moved into health-plan administration and hospital medical leadership roles, and she currently serves on multiple IPA boards. The integration of her clinical expertise with deep operational and business knowledge gives Dr. Kim a uniquely practical perspective on patient care — both at the bedside and across the broader healthcare system. Her insight has informed health care projects domestically and internationally.
She founded Frontline Primary Care to build the kind of clinic experience adults actually want: same-day visits when something comes up, unhurried annual physicals, real conversations about chronic conditions, and a medical weight loss program built on actual medicine — not gimmicks.
